Master's Program Admissions
Admissions for our Master’s program follow the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) admissions guidelines and are conducted in two stages. (For detailed admissions information and application procedures, please refer to the NCKU Online Admissions System.)
Stage 1: Recommendation and Screening Admission – Application period: September to October of the first semester of the academic year.
Stage 2: Additional Recommendation and Screening Admission – Application period: November to December of the first semester of the academic year.

Stage 1: Recommendation and Screening Admission (September-October, First Semester)

Admission Evaluation Criteria:

Document Review (40%)
- University Transcripts: Must include class ranking or proof of standing. (Ranking requirement is waived for degrees issued by overseas institutions).
- Personal Statement: Should include a resume.
- Additional Supporting Documents: May include awards, published papers, project or research reports, etc.
- Two Letters of Recommendation: Submitted directly through the application system.

Interview (60%)
Evaluation Order:

- Document Review
Notes:
- Candidates who pass the document review will be notified to attend the interview.
- Candidates with outstanding review scores may be exempt from the interview and given priority admission (limited to half of the available admission slots).
Stage 2: Written examination Admission (November–December, First Semester)
