Master's Program Admissions

Admissions for our Master’s program follow the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) admissions guidelines and are conducted in two stages. (For detailed admissions information and application procedures, please refer to the NCKU Online Admissions System.)

Stage 1: Recommendation and Screening Admission – Application period: September to October of the first semester of the academic year.

Stage 2: Additional Recommendation and Screening Admission – Application period: November to December of the first semester of the academic year.

Stage 1: Recommendation and Screening Admission (September to October of the first semester)

Available Spots: 6

Admission Evaluation Criteria:

1. Document Review (40%)

   • University Transcripts: Including proof of ranking (ranking requirement waived for international universities).
   • Personal Statement: Including a resume.
   • Additional Supporting Documents: Such as awards, published papers, project or research reports, etc.
   • Two Letters of Recommendation: Submitted through the application system.

2. Interview (60%)

Evaluation Order:

2. Document Review

Notes:

• Candidates who pass the document review will be notified to attend the interview. 
• Candidates with outstanding review scores may be exempt from the interview and given priority admission (limited to half of the available admission slots).

Stage 2: Additional Recommendation and Screening Admission (November to December of the first semester)

Available Spots: 10 (includes 6 candidates from First-stage admissions)

Admission Evaluation Criteria:

1. Document Review (40%)

   • University Transcripts: Including proof of ranking (ranking requirement waived for international universities).
   • Personal Statement: Including a resume.
   • Additional Supporting Documents: Such as awards, published papers, project or research reports, etc.
   • Two Letters of Recommendation: Submitted through the application system.
